Austria Competition update

Well i finally have an internet connection, so i can update you all on what’s been going on out here in Austria at the PWA Freestyle competition.  The journey started off pretty good with a short stay on the floor of Terminla 2 in Heathrow after picking up Simon Hurrey from Gatwick where he had just come back form Dahab.  We checked in with no hassles at all and were thinking that it couldn’t get any better than this.. Belgium Indoor

The competition kicked off with some amazing action here in Belgium yesterday, with the pool being much bigger (80x40) than the pool in London (70x25) the action was alot more exitcing especially in the jump and the slalom.  The big moves in the jump were done by the Brazilian duo of Kauli Seadi and Marcilio Browne both pulling perfect back loops and 1 footed pushies!!

The slalom is run with 4 men going at the same time so the it made for some really close races and some good crashes!  Ben Proffit and John Hibbard both in the main event but had a bit of bad luck after having to compete against the madman that is Robert Territehau, who is by far the fastest but also a bit Kamikazi as well!!

I unfortunately didn’t qualify for the freestyle.  I was doing great in the practice landing everything and then the wind seemed to change and i ended up a bit underpowered and therefore didn’t get the moves in on the judged runs.  Well done to Ben for qualifying with some clean spocks and grubbies.

New Freestyle Video!

Well its been a little quiet over the last few days out here in Dahab, so it gave me an opportunity to finish off any unfinished projects that i have been doing for a while!  The footage was shot from all 3 of our centers over the past year.  Its just basically a load of freestyle moves chucked together for all you freestylers!  Hope you enjoy it.
