Well thats it, i have won the National Championships again!  Woohoo!!  Unfortunately the wind didn’t play ball at the Poole Windfest last weekend and therefore the result from the first part of the National Championships in the Isle of White stands.

The Animal Poole Windfest was a fantastic event even though we had no wind.  Animal really organise everything well.  There is always someting to watch whether its the Animal Mountain Bike guys who do some pretty sick stuff or watching the guys on the tow in Wakeboarding.  Full respect to those guys - its pretty hardcore stuff!  Dan Jordan and Matt Crowehurst are definateky names to remember for next year.  The was an exibition tent with all of next years new toys in it as well.

Not much windsurfing was done but we did do a tow in session behind the jet ski which was pretty good fun and offered much amusement to the general public.  Myself and Simon had a bit more practice then the other guys as we did it last year.  We managed to do some nice Flakas!  Which was pretty cool as last we didn’t t manage to land a single trick!  I have some video of it which i will put on as soon as it arrives in the post courtesy of Adam Cropper from Turfdog.

At 4.30 on Sunday afternoon it was decided to run a 15 minute expression session just to see if it was windy enough.  Pumping on 5.7’s!!!  Ummm nice!  Simon took the honours with a nice 1 handed Bob, which is pretty sick considering the conditions - well done mate.

And that was it the Animal Poole Windfest - the best event of the year!!  It well worth coming down next year just to see how well Animal organise everything.  And then there are the legendary parties…

The final results for 2007 are:

1st Andy Bubble Chambers
2nd Simon Hurrey
3rd Colin Dixon
4th Adam Humphreys
5th Ollie Scott

Well done to all the boys from Club Vass, top 5 in Britain not bad eh!

We’re all around in the UK for a while now competing and sailing where ever its windy so hopefully see you all on a beach somewhere!!
