After a few days of no wind, the wind finally picked up enough for Jon Parker to get some cracking shots on my new gear. To check them out please have a look at his WEBSITE and go to the galleries section where you should find windsurfing and then El Medano. Enjoy!

In Tenerife at the moment training and testing my new gear. Everything feels nice, the Rocks feel very light and easy to use and the Flares feel really fast and crisp!! I will have some photos on in a few days courtesy of Jon Parker Photography. Also we should get some video footage next time its windy which hopefully should be tomorrow! Will keep you posted so stay tuned!!
I have put all of my media exposure to date - (that i know about!) on and a summary of it all as well.
Hope its not to cold back there in the UK! But it looks windy at least!
Cheers

I have changed board and sail sponsors from Gaastra and Tabou to Starboard and Tushingham. With Tushingham i will be helping to develop the freestyle sail - ‘The Wedge’. So watch out for the new ones, we are going to have more sizes and a whole new fresh look to them. I will also be tweaking them a bit to try and make them feel a bit more “freestyley”! The new Starboard Flares are fantastic, they have changed from last year - they are thicker in the tail giving them more pop, also the 111 and the 99 are the same dimensions so the 111 feels big and floaty when your not planing and then feels small when you are!! Great concept.
Myself, Jo ‘Diva’ Scott and Colin Dixon are running a series of clinics this year in April/May and then September/October. The clinics will be level specific to the location. The more wavey (coastal) locations will be more based around bump and jump, intro to wave sailing and forward loops. The more flat (inland) locations will concentrate more on intermediates (harness, footstraps, intro to planning, waterstarts, carve gybes), Advanced freestyle and possibly specialised ‘women only’ sessions.
More news to come on the new gear and the clinics soon!!
